The fact that it's created by Ljerka Barešić and her husband Tomislav from Karlovac adds a personal and artistic touch, reflecting their love for Croatian history and nautical culture.
These traditional boats are an important part of Croatia's maritime heritage:
- Trabakul: A two-masted cargo ship used mainly in the Adriatic.
- Bracera: A wooden coastal cargo vessel.
- Gajeta: A versatile small fishing and transport boat.
- Barcherin: A variation of a smaller vessel, used along the coast.
